Merry Christmas

We had a great Christmas and hope all of our loved ones enjoyed their Christmas as well. We have been very blessed this past year and pray we will deserve the blessings we continue to receive.

The nativity

Alex was so excited to act out the nativity this year. Seems we can never do a serious one though. Bill was the narrator. Alecia was Mary, and Karl played Joseph. Kayla represented the shepherds while Alex and I were the wise guys, I mean wise men. Alex calls them the three kings from orient are.

A visit from Mom and Dad

Mom and Dad came down for my cousin's wedding (Michelle McAllister). They had several things they wanted to do while they were here in Utah. Mom wanted to do some Christmas shopping, and they both wanted to see the Christmas lights on temple square and watch the Joseph Smith movie at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. Uncle Steve, Aunt Liz, and cousin Christine were able to join us as well. We enjoyed a snowy and rather cold evening together. Turn up the thermostat!

Alecia's concert

Alecia is a member of the Farmington Jr. High Symphonic Band. They had their Christmas concert on the 9th and did a great job. The band is working hard to prepare for a trip to Indianapolis in March.

Thanksgiving fun

After our Thanksgiving dinner, we took everyone to the park. The adults took a little walk while the kids played on the toys. Kayla invited a young man named Patrick to Thanksgiving dinner. With Bill, Chris, and Wanless there, he was thoroughly grilled. I'm so glad the weather was nice enough we could work off a fantastic dinner.

Zoo time

Over Thanksgiving break we took the kids to the Hogle Zoo. Kayla loved the monkeys while Alecia got excited over the elephants. Alex just wanted hot chocolate while Karl wanted an icee.

Treat time!?

Alex earned a treat which is usually an ice cream cone. Leave it to Bill to find a treat like this!
