The Secret Garden

Bill and Alex were in the Farmington City Arts' production of the Secret Garden.  Bill played Captain Albert Lennox, and Alex was a part of the children's choir.  

Alex was the only boy in the choir, so they assigned him to go around deciding who would die of the cholera.  When he would point to a person, one of the girls in the choir would hand that person a red scarf indicating that they would die.  When people asked what part he played, Alex would reply, "I kill people."  Alex also helped with scene changes.

Bill had to grow sideburns.  Every time I looked at him, I would laugh.  We were both glad to shave them off when the show was over!
