Miss Davis County Pageant

Our friendly neighbor kept telling Alecia she should be in the Jr. Miss Davis County Pageant.  Alecia finally decided to go for it at the last minute and rushed to get everything done.  The great thing about Alecia is that once she decides to do something, she goes full steam ahead and gets it done!  She borrowed dresses from my cousins, sold advertisement space in the program to cover her fees, found a little miss, learned the opening routine, and got the accompaniment recorded for her talent song.  She did a great job.  She was relieved she did not win because then she could go to the regional dance with her friends instead of attending next pageant that night.  Pageant life is not for us!
